Prayer rally a warning to erring local officials

About 300 anti-Erap protesters wound through the capital town's main streets last Friday afternoon as they served a warning to corrupt and abusive local officials that the people's eyes are on them. [FullStory]   

 

MORE THAN ENOUGH. The crowd was not big enough to pack the open area in front of the Plaza Rizal grandstand but their chants of "Erap, Resign!" more than made up for the difference.

 

WAS SANCHEZ LISTENING? The march brought their case to the provincial capitol where Gov. Hector S. Sanchez was reportedly watching the Estrada presidency totter on cable TV.
