locals win cash in BIR "resibo" raffle
Seven residents of this island province who joined a
raffle promo of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) never got near the
P100,000 top prize but at least they won a total of P75,000.
The top prize in the "Humingi Ng Resibo,
Milyun-Milyon Pa Rin Ang Panalo" regional draw held last November 17
at LCC Legaspi City went to Amy L. Red of the same city. The P50,000
second prize went to Fe C. Tayas of Canaman, Camarines Sur while the
P30,000 third prize went to Rosemaria Naeza of Daet, Camariner Norte.
The big winners from Catanduanes were Avelina
Avinado of Divino Rostro, San Andres and Jane Helen O. Alvarado of Sta.
Cruz, Virac who won P20,000 each. Avinado submitted a receipt from Citizen
Drug while Alvarado had as entry a receipt of PPA Legaspi.
Two Bato residents - Emma L. Pereyra of Cabugao and
Bella T. Buendia of Binanwahan - won P10,000 each in the same draw.
Pereyra used another Citizen Drug receipt while Buendia used one from
Virac Fortune Enterprises.
Three others won P5,000 each as consolation winners.
Evelyn R. Haban of San Isidro Village, Virac submitted a receipt from
All-J Enterprises while Nelly G. Solmiano of Sta. Cruz, San Andres used
one issued by Asuncion Cua Store. Elisa Nilda G. Alberto, who had as entry
a receipt from Asuncion Cua Store, won for the second time since the
raffle promo was started by the BIR.
There are two more draws to be held this December.
The Luzon Area draw scheduled this Dec. 1 promises a million pesos for the
top prize winner while the runners-up will receive P750,000 and P500,000.
The national draw on Dec. 10 will award P750,000 to the 3rd prize winner,
P1-million to the 2nd prize winner and P2-million to the grand prize
winner.
