Robbers took P79-T from W. Brown trader Unidentified suspects who ransacked the Virac distributor of the popular W. Brown line of shoes, clothers and personal accessories took nearly P80,000 worth of goods, police said last week. In their report to the PNP provincial office in Camp Camacho, Virac police authorities said the robbers took 22 pieces of W. Brown wallets, shades, belts, t-shirts, sandals and backpacks; 15 Hanes t-shirts, 34 pieces of Lifeline blouse, 26 Layagan sandals and slippers; assorted pants and polo shirts; 65 assorted rings and earrings with birthstones; and, other brand-name footwear and pants. It added that the perpetrators struck at midnight of October 28 at Rosiel's Trading owned and managed by Rosemarie Solano-Zafe of San Andres town and entered the establishment along the national road in Gogon Centro by cutting three padlocks and destroying the metal lock on the inside glass door. In another related incident, an eye doctor was robbed of an electric generator by an unidentified man last All Saints Day in the capital town. Dr. Joselito Urgel told probers that he saw the suspect loading the Honda 650-watt generator on board a pedicab bound for the Palnab area but he never gave chase due to the heavy rains. Probers say the suspect probably entered the Urgel-owned eye clinic by using a master key and then got the power appliance.
