Lawmen recover  stolen firearm

Virac police authorities last week recovered a firearm stolen from a Camarines Sur lawman and pawned by the teenaged thief to a barriomate.

Last Feb. 15 at about 10:30 A.M., joint elements of the Virac police station and the provincial command headed by SPO2 Nelson Tabor found the Cal. 9mm Beretta pistol with serial number M128022 with one empty magazine in possession of Leon Tabor at his residence in Antipolo.

According to Tabor, the gun was mortgaged to him for P4,000.00 by Roberto Dalimocon y Gianan, 19, also of Antipolo, who stole it from a certain PO2 Labor of the Ragay police station in Camarines Sur.

Meanwhile, two more vehicles were the target of carnappers in the capital town last week.

Last Feb. 15 at 7:15 P.M., Bigaa resident Jonas Joson, 23, was at the Eastern Bicol Medical Center when he saw two unidentified men attempting to take away his red Yamaha RS100 while it was parked. The duo, who were riding a red Yamaha RS100 with plate number EF-9644, failed to steal Joson's bike.

Pio Valeza of Cavinitan was not as lucky as Joson as unidentified suspects took his red Yamaha RS100 tricycle with temporary plate 6D-347 while it was parked at the back of the Catanduanes State Colleges administration building last Feb. 14 at 6 P.M.
