Avila is
new CPA
Rene Jacob Avila, Jr. passed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure examination given last October 14-15 and 21-22, 2000 in Manila.
The eldest son of Dr. Rene I. Avila, Sr. and Prof. Teresita J. Avila of Sta. Elena, Virac, consistent dean's lister Rene Jr. graduated at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) last May 5.
He was among the 1,636 examinees out of 8,411 hopefuls to pass the exam given by the PRC Board of Accountancy.
Last Nov. 15, he attended the joint oathtaking ceremonies of new CPAs at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Manila before the PRC Board, the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and the Professional Regulations Commission.
