PNRC membership now with health benefit

Now, only misers can stand not giving their employees or loved ones membership with the Philippine National Red Cross.

The PNRC has launched an aggressive drive that offers membership in the humanitarian organization for just P30 annually, with health coverage thrown in free.

According to chapter officer-in-charge Dave L. Templonuevo, Jr., the membership is open to all Filipinos aged 7 to 59 years old, who will be given health coverage for one year starting upon payment of the membership fee.

The health package includes in-hospital daily cash benefit of P150; accidental death and dismemberment benefit of P12,000; permanent total disability benefit of P12,000; for death by unprovoked murder and assault, P12,000; and, accidental medical expenses of P5,000.

Red Cross members can claim a maximum of 60 days per occurrence, with no limit on the number of occurrences. Excluded from coverage, however, are pilots, mountain climbers, police personnel, and those who are in high-risk jobs.

Those interested to avail of the membership and free health coverage are advised to contact the PNRC Catanduanes Chapter at the EBMC compound in San Isidro Village.
