Christine Talaran is Ms. Little X'mas Cheers

Seven-year old Christine A. Talaran was crowned Little Ms. Christmas Cheers 2000 last week as the 13-night festival of songs and dances drew to a satisfying close.

The daughter of SPO1 Edward Talaran and PNP employee Alice Alberto-Talaran, the Grade 2 pupil at Virac Central Elementary School won two special awards - Best in Production Number and Best in Casual Wear - in getting the judges nod during pageant night last December 28 at Plaza Rizal.

School of Praise kinder pupil Sheera Vanessa A. Guerrero finished second as Little Ms. Kris Kringle. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rommel Guerrerao was adlso adjudged Best in Sportswear.

Michelle V. Laynes of Virac Pilot Elementary School was named Little Ms. Mistletoe and ran away with the Best in Evening Gown award. The Grade 1 pupil is the daughter of Engr. Alex Laynes and Mrs. Cynthia Valeza-Laynes of Valencia.

The other winners were Hacelyn Ramirez of Virac Central Elementary School - Little Ms. Christmas Star; Angelica Samar of the School of Praise - Little Ms. Christmas Carol; and, Virac Pilot's Ruth Tabirara - Little Ms. Christmas Tree.
